6 day completion

We were approached by the broker to fund the purchase of a residential property, a flat for investment purposes. The client’s mortgage offer had expired due to development delays and due to the current climate and interest rates the offer was invalid. The client had exchanged and had insufficient time to arrange an alternative mortgage prior to completion.

The client was under pressure from the developer to complete, and was at risk of losing their deposit.

SDKA provided assurance to the client that we can deliver. Within 3 hours the case had been underwritten, documents issued and legals instructed. The site had also been visited and all ID checks completed.

Working together with the broker, and legal teams completion took place a further 5 days later which was within the required timescales for the client.
