Harvey, our latest recruit talks about his career so far and his passion for customer service.

How did you get into the industry?

I was fortunate to join the industry as an apprentice in 2017, working in a number of different roles. This has given me a great rounding to understand the way in which a bridging lender operates, having dealt with every type of situation, and on exceptionally busy teams. The understanding that I now have of the customer journey is really beneficial to my role at SDKA.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Continue to learn. Never stop learning.

What do you love most about what you do?

I am passionate about providing excellent service to customers and having a beneficial impact on the company. Our reputation is what brings business in, and I want to ensure that it’s positive.

Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.

I own a Classic 1987 Austin Mini which I am building/restoring by myself.
